Fremont, MI (July 24, 2026) – A 15-year-old boy died after a dirt bike and a septic truck collided on Luce Road near 48th Street on Wednesday morning.
Michigan State Police said the crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. near the city limits. The teen was taken to a hospital after the collision, where he later died from his injuries.
The student attended Fremont High School, according to Fremont Public Schools Superintendent Brad Reyburn. The teen’s name was not released.
The investigation into the wreck is ongoing as authorities continue reviewing the circumstances. Our condolences go out to the teen’s family and friends during this difficult time.
