Leoni Township, MI (July 10, 2026) – An 18-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured after a crash involving a motorcycle and two vehicles at the intersection of Page Avenue and South Sutton Road in Leoni Township. The collision happened on Wednesday, July 8.
The motorcyclist was traveling east on Page Avenue when he struck another vehicle, according to the preliminary investigation. The impact threw the rider from the motorcycle into the westbound lanes, where he was then struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The teen was taken to Henry Ford Jackson Hospital for treatment of critical injuries. The occupants of the other vehicles involved were not injured. Officials said speed and an improper passing maneuver may have contributed to the crash. We are thinking of the motorcyclist and hope they recover soon.
