The Villages, FL (January 21, 2026) – Two women were hospitalized with minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in The Villages early Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:23 a.m. at the intersection of Morse Blvd and County Rd 466. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 75-year-old woman from Lady Lake was driving a Toyota Tacoma southbound on Morse Blvd when she failed to stop at a flashing red light.
As she entered the intersection, her vehicle collided with a Ford Fusion traveling eastbound on County Rd 466. The Fusion was being driven by a 33-year-old woman from Wildwood.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the collision and were transported to nearby hospitals for evaluation and treatment. No other vehicles or passengers were reported to be involved.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
