San Antonio, TX (August 30, 2026) – Three people were critically injured on Friday afternoon, August 28, in a multi-vehicle crash on the ramp from Interstate 35 to Northeast Loop 410 near Tradewind and Fourwinds Drive on San Antonio’s Northeast Side. The collision was reported at approximately 1:45 p.m.
According to a preliminary report from the San Antonio Police Department, a silver Mercedes struck a blue Toyota. The impact caused the Toyota to spin and collide with an unoccupied Jeep Cherokee parked on the shoulder.
The police said the Mercedes continued northbound and struck a white Chevrolet before coming to rest in a grassy area. After being hit, the white Chevrolet then struck a fifth vehicle, a black Chevrolet.
Three people involved in the collision were taken to a hospital with critical injuries. Authorities continue investigating the crash.
