Salisbury, NC (July 20, 2026) – A night crash involving two vehicles on Mooresville Road (NC-150) near Town Center in Salisbury claimed the lives of three people. The collision happened at about 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, West of Jake Alexander Boulevard.
According to reports, two people in one vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person from the same vehicle was airlifted for treatment but later died from their injuries. The victims’ names have not been released until their families are notified.
The driver of the other vehicle, identified as Javiel Pena Sola, was located near the crash scene. Investigators said his vehicle was found in a creek bed, and he was later charged with three felony counts of hit-and-run involving serious injury or death.
