Twin Bridges, ID (June 4, 2026) – Three people were hospitalized Wednesday afternoon following a head-on collision on 4700 East near the south side of the Snake River Bridge. A 51-year-old woman from Twin Falls was critically hurt when her gold 2005 Chevy Uplander crossed into the northbound lane and struck a blue Volkswagen Passat.
The Passat was occupied by an 18-year-old male driver and a 15-year-old male passenger, both from Rexburg. Both were taken to a local hospital, though their injuries have not been confirmed. The roadway remained closed for several hours while emergency units worked at the scene. No additional information about those involved has been released. Investigators continue to examine the cause of the collision.
