Laredo, TX (August 7, 2026) – Three people were hurt in a single-vehicle crash early on Thursday morning after a driver reportedly lost control and struck a fence and a tree near a business in Laredo.
The collision happened at about 2:28 a.m. on Santa Ursula Ave near Garcia St. According to preliminary findings, a black 2014 Chevrolet Impala was traveling southbound when the 22-year-old driver lost control, causing the car to leave the roadway and hit a fence before striking a tree.
A 21-year-old woman was possibly ejected from the vehicle and received severe injuries to her lower extremities. The driver and a 17-year-old male passenger were also found with injuries. All three were taken to a local hospital, and the woman and the 17-year-old were later transferred to a hospital in San Antonio for additional treatment. The investigation into the collision remains in its early stages as investigators continue gathering information.
