Muskegon, MI (August 19, 2026) – A three-vehicle crash caused serious injuries on Holton Road near Beattie Road in Muskegon County on Monday, August 17. The crash happened around 3:45 p.m., according to the state police.
Detectives said a southbound vehicle on Holton Road was struck from behind. The impact pushed that vehicle into oncoming traffic, where it was hit by another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. Holton Road was closed from Beattie Road to the south and Riley Thompson Road to the north following the crash.
The public was asked to avoid the area while the scene was being handled. The crash remains under investigation, and additional details may be released as the review continues.
