The collision resulted in at least one person sustaining injuries and prompted a significant emergency response.
First responders arrived at the scene to find heavy damage among the involved vehicles, all of which were large commercial trucks. The crash caused lane closures and delays as crews worked to manage both patient care and the extensive cleanup required due to the scale of the wreck.
Paramedics treated the injured at the scene, and at least one individual was transported to a nearby hospital for additional care. The condition of those involved has not yet been released.
The crash occurred along a busy freight corridor, leading to major traffic impacts throughout the afternoon. Tow-truck and hazmat crews were likely required due to the presence of multiple tractor-trailers.
