Toledo, OH (February 3, 2026) – A deadly accident was reported Monday afternoon in Toledo following a collision at the intersection of Bailey Rd and Jeffers Rd. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. and involved two passenger vehicles traveling through the area.
Details indicate that one vehicle was moving eastbound on Bailey Rd while another was traveling north on Jeffers Rd when the accident occurred near the stop-controlled intersection. The collision caused significant damage, drawing immediate attention from nearby motorists and prompting a response from emergency medical services.
A 90-year-old female passenger involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the same vehicle and another passenger sustained a variety of injuries and were taken to a nearby medical facility for additional treatment. The driver of the second vehicle was assessed at the scene for minor injuries and did not require hospital transport.
Traffic was temporarily impacted as the scene was secured and damaged vehicles were removed from the roadway. The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
