Toledo, OH (January 7, 2026) – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a traffic accident with injuries Monday night near the intersection of North Erie Street and Jefferson Avenue in Toledo, where a silver SUV reportedly crashed and was blocking the roadway.
The incident was reported around 8:45 p.m., prompting a police and fire response to the downtown-area intersection. According to dispatch audio, a caller at the scene stated that the SUV had crashed directly in front of a nearby property. First responders arrived to find the vehicle disabled and the roadway obstructed.
At least one injury was reported, though the extent and nature of those injuries have not been officially released. Medics were observed on site evaluating the condition of those involved. The blocked roadway created temporary traffic disruptions in the area while crews worked to manage the scene.
