Toledo, OH (January 24, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a cold weather-related injury accident on January 23 in front of the Toledo Clinic on Secor Rd, between Eastbrook Dr and Cordon Dr. The crash occurred during the afternoon hours and involved hazardous conditions likely linked to freezing temperatures.
Engine 25, Truck 17, and Medic 23 were dispatched to the scene after reports of a collision involving at least one individual in need of medical attention. Upon arrival, responders located the crash in front of the clinic and began evaluating those involved. At least one person sustained injuries and received on-site care, though the full extent of their condition has not been confirmed.
Traffic near the crash site was briefly impacted as emergency units assisted the injured and coordinated with police to ensure roadway safety. Given the mention of cold weather factors, it is possible that slick road surfaces or reduced visibility played a role in the incident.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident. No additional information has been released regarding other vehicles involved or the identities of those injured.
We send our well wishes to the injured and hope for a full and safe recovery.
