Toledo, OH (January 15, 2026) – A man was injured early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run collision near the intersection of Douglas Rd and Dorr St in Toledo, according to emergency dispatch reports.
The crash occurred around 2:37 a.m. and involved a white truck, reportedly missing its tailgate, which struck a black sedan. The impact caused a man to fall from the vehicle. Emergency crews responded swiftly to assist the injured party and secure the scene, which temporarily blocked traffic at the intersection.
Following the crash, the truck fled the scene, heading north toward a nearby campus parking lot. Police are continuing to search for the vehicle and the driver involved.
