Winsted Twp., MN (August 6, 2026) – An 80-year-old woman was injured on Tuesday, August 4, when a sport utility vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided at Highway 7 and County Road 9. The crash occurred at approximately 11:31 a.m.
The vehicles involved were a 2018 Ford Edge and a 2024 Volvo tractor-truck. Both were traveling through the intersection when they came together.
The Ford driver, Sandra Lee Foss of Winsted, received non-life-threatening injuries. Responders evaluated her and provided ambulance care. The 42-year-old truck operator from Reading, Pennsylvania, was not hurt. Authorities continue reviewing the collision to determine the complete sequence of events.
