York Township, OH (June 21, 2026) – The Police are investigating a crash that injured a North Carolina truck driver after a train struck their semi that became stuck on railroad tracks in York Township.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19, on County Road 11, just south of County Road F. Official information said the 45-year-old driver from Fayetteville, North Carolina, was traveling south when the semi became stuck while crossing the railroad tracks. A Norfolk Southern train then struck the semi.
The truck driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. No train crew members were injured in the crash. The incident remains under review by authorities.
