Tucson, AZ (January 16, 2026) – A woman sustained injuries on Thursday evening in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wetmore Rd and Stone Ave in Tucson, according to emergency dispatch reports.
The collision took place around 8:06 p.m. on January 15 and involved a gray SUV and a compact passenger car. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following reports that a female occupant had become trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Responding crews provided assistance and helped extricate the woman, who had reportedly suffered a leg injury. She received on-site medical attention before being transported for further evaluation. The extent of her injuries has not been confirmed.
