Las Vegas, NV (August 11, 2026) – Two 25-year-old men were critically hurt after a Tesla crashed near South Highland Drive and West Desert Inn Road early Monday, August 10. The crash was reported around 2:26 a.m. near I-15.
The vehicle was a 2022 Tesla Model 3. According to the preliminary investigation, the Tesla was speeding when its driver missed a curve and left the roadway. The car struck a curb and then hit a building before catching fire.
Responders rescued both occupants from the burning vehicle. Both men were taken to Sunrise Hospital with significant injuries, and medical staff later determined that their injuries were life-threatening.
The driver remained in critical condition. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing. Our thoughts are with both men as they continue to receive medical treatment.
