Blue Earth City Township, MN (July 25, 2026) – Two drivers were hurt after a two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 90 just west of Highway 169 in Blue Earth City Township on Thursday, July 23. Emergency units responded to the scene at about 10:03 a.m.
According to the report, a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country were both traveling westbound when they collided. The roadway was dry at the time of the crash. Officials did not release additional details explaining what led to the collision. The Jeep was driven by 26-year-old Madison Anne Marie Hendricks of Fairmont. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to United Hospital–Blue Earth.
The Chrysler was driven by 23-year-old Thomas Terrill Williams of Detroit, Minnesota. He also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the same hospital. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
