Bemidji, MN (August 26, 2026) – A 62-year-old woman was injured on Monday afternoon, August 24, in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 197 near Hannah Avenue in Bemidji. The collision happened at approximately 2:04 p.m.
According to the incident report, a Hyundai Tucson was traveling east on Highway 197, with a Ford F-150 also traveling east behind it. The two vehicles collided near Hannah Avenue.
The female passenger in the Hyundai suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Bemidji Hospital. The 74-year-old Hyundai driver was not injured. The 17-year-old Ford driver also did not require medical treatment. Authorities continue reviewing what led to the collision.
