Phoenix, AZ (September 7, 2026) – Two drivers were hospitalized after a collision near North Seventh Avenue and Bell Road shortly after 1 a.m. on Saturday, September 5. One adult man had to be freed from his vehicle by emergency units.
The first driver was brought to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. The second driver also received hospital care for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
After receiving medical attention, the second driver was processed for DUI. The initial report did not explain what led to the accident or identify either driver.
Investigators continue reviewing the crash. We hope both drivers recover fully.
Why Can Serious Injuries Occur in Early-Morning Roadway Collisions?
