Wichita, KS (August 31, 2026) – Two people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon, August 30, after a crash near 47th Street South and Spruce Street in south Wichita. The collision happened at approximately noon near the Arkansas River bridge.
According to the available report, emergency crews took two injured people to area hospitals following the crash.
One person was reported to be in critical condition, while the other was listed in serious condition.
What caused the collision remains under investigation. We hope both injured people receive care and recover fully.
