Madera, CA (August 27, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Thursday morning at the intersection of SR 41 and SR 145.
The California Highway Patrol records show a semi-truck and a Nissan were involved. The semi-truck reportedly ran a red light before the vehicles collided, and the intersection was completely blocked. Emergency units were called to the intersection shortly after 6:20 a.m. A second medical unit was requested, and one person was taken to a local hospital.
A tow was also requested for the Nissan. The dispatch record classified the injuries as minor, but it did not provide the number of people hurt or their identities. The circumstances surrounding the wreck remain under review, with additional details expected as the inquiry continues.
