Buffalo, MO (August 26, 2026) – Two men were injured in an accident involving three vehicles on Cumberland Rd, 13.5 miles south of Buffalo, on Monday, August 24. The collision occurred at about 8:19 p.m. in Dallas County.
According to the report, a 2024 Suzuki 650 and a 2026 Yamaha Raptor 700 crested a hill while traveling northbound. A southbound 2000 GMC Jimmy then struck the Suzuki head-on.
The 37-year-old Yamaha driver rolled his vehicle while trying to avoid the collision. Both the Suzuki driver and Yamaha driver were ejected.
The 30-year-old Springfield man driving the Suzuki suffered serious injuries. The 37-year-old Elkland man driving the Yamaha sustained moderate injuries, and both were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The circumstances surrounding the wreck remain under review. We hope both injured men make a full recovery.
