Elsmore, KS (September 9, 2026) – Two people were hurt after a car crashed during a police pursuit on Monday morning in Allen County.
The crash was reported around 11:42 a.m. near 4550th Street and Hawaii Road, about two miles northeast of Elsmore. A 2010 Cadillac CTS was traveling east on Hawaii Road while being pursued by law enforcement.
The Cadillac was reportedly traveling recklessly before the driver lost control near 4550th Road. The vehicle veered off the roadway, crossed Hawaii Road, and came to rest off the opposite side.
The driver, Logan L. Fielding, 18, of Junction City, was taken to an area hospital with suspected minor injuries. Passenger Brooklyn K. Rhodes, 15, of Texas, was also taken to a hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. We hope both injured people make a full recovery.
