Harris Co., TX (August 31, 2026) – Two people were injured Saturday morning, August 29, when a law enforcement chase ended in a crash at Veterans Memorial Drive and Fallbrook Drive in north Harris County. The collision happened at approximately 6:40 a.m.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the pursuit began in Montgomery County and continued south on the North Freeway before the fleeing vehicle collided with a civilian vehicle at the intersection.
The civilian vehicle overturned, and one person suffered minor injuries. A passenger in the other vehicle was also injured and later went to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities said the driver of the pursued vehicle left the scene on foot. Deputies searched the surrounding area but did not locate the person at that time.
The crash remains under investigation. We hope both injured people make a full recovery.
