Festus, MO (September 3, 2026) – Two drivers were injured on Tuesday afternoon after three vehicles collided on northbound US-67 at Montauk Dr. The accident occurred around 4:18 p.m. on September 1 in Jefferson County.
A 64-year-old Cadet woman was stopped at the intersection when she failed to yield to northbound traffic. A northbound 2025 Dodge ProMaster 3500 then struck the driver’s side of her 2006 Chrysler Town and Country.
The Dodge continued skidding into southbound traffic and struck the driver’s side of a 2012 Ford F550. The 21-year-old Dodge driver from Festus suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South, while the 64-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
All three vehicles were damaged beyond repair and towed from the area. The 41-year-old Ford driver from Park Hills was not listed among those injured. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues examining the circumstances of the collision.
