Effingham, SC (July 22, 2026) – Two people were injured after a vehicle overturned into a ditch in the 3800 block of Claussen Road in the Effingham area on Monday night, July 20.
The crash was reported around 8:15 p.m., according to Florence County Fire Rescue. Officials said two occupants, including a child, were trapped inside the vehicle after the crash. Before emergency crews arrived, bystanders safely removed both people from the vehicle. They were later taken to a hospital, and their conditions were not available.
