Hellertown, PA (September 11, 2026) – Two people were injured on Wednesday morning in an accident on westbound Interstate 78 in Hellertown. The collision occurred near mile marker 69.5 shortly before 5 a.m.
Two vehicles were involved. A 20-year-old Bethlehem man was taken to a hospital for treatment, while the other driver, a 25-year-old Palmer Township man, was also reported injured.
Traffic slowed in the area as crews cleared the damaged vehicles. Further details about the injuries and circumstances leading to the wreck were not immediately available. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.
