Tybee Island, GA (July 20, 2026) – Two people were injured after an overnight crash near 6th Street on Tybee Island early on Sunday morning, July 19. The vehicle left the roadway before coming to a stop.
According to reports, the vehicle struck a crosswalk and two palm trees during the crash. First responders arrived at the scene, and one person was taken away on a stretcher. Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to a hospital for treatment.
