Supply, NC (September 2, 2026) – Two people were seriously injured on Monday afternoon after a truck flipped several times on US Hwy 17 near mile marker 18. The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. in Brunswick County.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, an SUV leaving Skips Tires failed to yield and pulled in front of the southbound truck. The truck then flipped three to four times.
The truck driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital, while the passenger was airlifted for treatment. Both had serious injuries but were listed in stable condition.
The SUV driver was charged with failure to yield with serious injury. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
