Corona, CA (August 29, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Thursday morning, August 27, to a two-vehicle crash on westbound State Route 91 east of State Route 71 in Corona. The collision was reported at approximately 9:58 a.m.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch records, a gray Mazda 3 and a black Mercedes were involved in the crash in the fast lane.
The Mercedes was initially reported blocking the first lane. Ontario Fire Department crews were notified, and CHP later upgraded the incident to one requiring an ambulance response.
Both vehicles were eventually moved to the right-hand shoulder, and tow trucks were requested for each vehicle.
The collision remains under investigation. We hope everyone injured makes a full recovery.
