Safety Tips for Driving on Curved Mountain Roads
Curved roads can require drivers to reduce speed and stay alert to changing road conditions. Limited sight distance can make it harder to see stopped vehicles, approaching traffic, or hazards ahead.
Drivers should maintain a safe following distance and stay within their lane through curves. Sudden steering or excessive speed can make it harder to keep control, particularly on winding stretches of roadway.
