Minden, NE (July 15, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon, July 14, near the Interstate 80 interchange in the westbound lanes at Minden.
The collision was reported at approximately 5:30 p.m. Responding agencies included the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department, the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, and CHI Health Good Samaritan EMS.
Initial reports indicated one vehicle came to rest in the median while another ended up in a ditch. However, responders later found one of the vehicles on the shoulder of the roadway. The number of people involved and whether anyone was injured have not been confirmed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and officials have not released additional information.
