Hemet, CA (July 28, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on Monday morning, July 27, on westbound Domenigoni Parkway east of State Route 79 in Hemet.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, the collision was reported shortly before 7:55 a.m. and involved a black Tesla Cybertruck and a gray Ford Focus sedan. Following the impact, the Cybertruck came to rest blocking the left lane, while the Ford Focus left the roadway and entered the dirt shoulder.
One of the people involved reportedly suffered a head injury, according to information relayed to dispatchers. Cal Fire responded to assist, and tow trucks were requested for both the Ford Focus and the Tesla Cybertruck due to damage sustained in the crash.
Authorities have not released the number of people injured or the extent of their injuries. The cause of the collision remains under investigation. We are thinking of everyone involved and wish those injured a full and speedy recovery.
