Palo Alto, CA (July 21, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash blocked multiple lanes on northbound US-101 just south of the Embarcadero Road on-ramp in Palo Alto on Monday, July 20. Emergency units responded to the scene after the collision was reported at approximately 1:27 a.m.
A white Audi sedan and a Wildtrak Ford Bronco were reportedly involved in the crash. The collision left debris across the roadway, and airbags deployed in the Audi. Northbound traffic was initially stopped in all lanes before responders reopened lanes one through three, with lanes four and five remaining closed temporarily.
One person was seen outside a vehicle, and early reports indicated no injuries had been confirmed. Tow trucks were later requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
