Virginia Beach, VA (March 5, 2026) – A bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries following a vehicle collision Thursday evening in Virginia Beach, according to local authorities.
Emergency crews responded to the crash at approximately 6:15 p.m. along Virginia Beach Boulevard near the intersection with North Witchduck Road.
Police reported that a bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle while traveling in the eastbound lanes of the busy corridor. The circumstances leading up to the collision have not yet been fully detailed as investigators continue to examine the incident.
The bicyclist suffered critical injuries in the crash and was transported by emergency medical services to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.
