Frequently Asked Questions
What can drivers do to spot motorcycles more easily?
Checking mirrors and blind spots twice before changing lanes or turning helps, since a motorcycle's narrow profile makes it easy to miss in a quick glance.
Do motorcycle crashes happen more often at intersections?
Many motorcycle collisions occur where vehicles are turning or crossing paths, since drivers may misjudge a motorcycle's speed or distance in those moments.
Does road surface condition affect motorcycle safety?
Yes. Loose gravel, wet pavement and uneven surfaces reduce a motorcycle's traction far more than they affect a car, making braking and cornering less predictable.
