Washington County, IL (February 28, 2026) – Two people were hospitalized Saturday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 64 in Washington County.
According to the Illinois State Police, the collision occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. on westbound I-64, just east of U.S. Highway 51.
Authorities reported that the crash involved three vehicles in the westbound lanes. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to assess those involved and manage traffic in the area.
ISP confirmed that two individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The severity of the injuries has not been publicly disclosed.
