West Hartford, CT (January 29, 2026) – A two-car collision near Albany Avenue and Mountain Brook Wednesday morning resulted in one driver sustaining a minor burn injury, prompting a multi-unit emergency response.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:53 a.m., according to dispatch audio, and involved two vehicles. Emergency crews arrived on scene shortly after the incident and found that one of the drivers had suffered a minor burn, reportedly caused by airbag deployment during the collision.
Fire and EMS personnel provided treatment at the scene, and a second ambulance was requested for further medical evaluation of those involved. The extent of other injuries has not been confirmed, though no additional serious injuries were noted at the time.
