Whites Creek, TN (January 21, 2026) – A crash involving injuries was reported early Tuesday morning along the eastbound lanes of I-24 near mile marker 36 in the Whites Creek area. The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. on January 21, between Whites Creek Pike and Old Hickory Blvd.
First responders, including paramedics and rescue personnel, arrived on scene and rendered aid to multiple individuals hurt in the crash. Victims sustained a variety of injuries and were treated at the scene before being transported for further medical evaluation. The severity of the injuries has not been publicly confirmed.
The collision happened during early morning traffic and led to temporary closures and slowdowns along the affected stretch of I-24 East. At least one vehicle was reported to have sustained disabling damage, though the exact number of vehicles involved remains unclear.
