Wichita, KS (January 13, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash occurred on Monday afternoon on southbound I-135 near 48th St, prompting a medical response and evaluation of at least one individual.
Emergency crews from Squad 32 and Quint 32 responded to the scene just north of Highway 254. Both vehicles were found upright and off the roadway along the shoulder, minimizing disruption to traffic flow. First responders quickly began assessing those involved, with the Kansas Highway Patrol confirming that one person in a black pickup truck required medical attention.
While the extent of injuries has not been fully detailed, the individual’s condition was initially reported as non-life-threatening. Authorities remained on scene to assist with care and ensure roadway safety.
