What Leads to Multi-Car Crashes on Busy Highways?
Crashes involving several vehicles often happen when traffic is heavy and speeds are high. A sudden slowdown or an unexpected obstacle can cause drivers to react quickly, sometimes leading to chain-reaction impacts.
Large vehicles like semi-trucks or trailers can add to the risk. They require more distance to stop and may block visibility for drivers behind them. This can make it harder to see what is happening ahead.
Road conditions and timing also matter. Morning traffic can be dense, and drivers may be rushing or distracted. When multiple vehicles are close together, even a small mistake can lead to a serious crash.
