Montville Township, OH (June 27, 2026) – A woman was killed, and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning, June 25, on State Route 57 at the Interstate 71 overpass in Montville Township.
The collision happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Wadsworth Road (SR 57). Investigators said 31-year-old Antonina Zhu of Mansfield was driving an SUV south when it crossed left of center while negotiating a curve and collided with a northbound sedan. Zhu was flown to a local trauma center, where she later died from her injuries.
The two 22-year-old occupants of the sedan, both from Rittman, were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
The roadway remained closed for several hours before reopening later that morning.
