Polk County, MO (June 26, 2026) – A 57-year-old Moberly woman was seriously hurt in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 32 in Polk County on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a 2011 Cadillac SRX when it struck the rear of a 2012 Cadillac SRX operated by a 48-year-old man from Moberly. Investigators reported that neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar for treatment of serious injuries. The man was not reported as hurt.
Both sport utility vehicles sustained extensive damage. The names of the people involved were not released.
Investigators continue working to determine the factors that led to the collision.
