Youngstown, OH (January 29, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident at a busy Youngstown intersection on Wednesday evening left one individual injured and prompted a swift emergency response from local crews.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. at the junction of South Ave and Dewey Ave. Preliminary details from the scene indicate that one of the vehicles reportedly failed to yield to a traffic light, resulting in a collision that left both cars with visible front-end damage. One of the vehicles became lodged in a nearby snowbank due to the force of the impact.
Paramedics evaluated all individuals involved and transported one person to a nearby hospital for further medical examination. Authorities described the injuries as non-life-threatening, and no additional injuries were reported among the others involved.
