Youngstown, OH (January 28, 2026) – A bus passenger required medical attention following a collision between a WRTA bus and a white car on Tuesday morning at the intersection of McGuffey Rd and Albert St in Youngstown.
The crash occurred around 10:55 a.m. on January 27. According to dispatch audio, the car involved fled the scene shortly after the collision. Emergency personnel, including EMTs, responded to assist at the location and attended to at least one injured bus passenger.
The extent of injuries sustained has not yet been confirmed, and authorities have not released further details regarding the driver of the white car. The scene was stabilized as emergency crews provided aid and began the investigation.
Local police are actively working to identify the vehicle that left the scene and to determine what led to the incident.
