North Richland Hills, TX (August 4, 2026) – One person was critically hurt after a four-vehicle collision along the westbound lanes of Loop 820 near Rufe Snow in North Richland Hills late on August 2.
The crash was reported at about 11 p.m. near the Loop 820 and Rufe Snow interchange. According to the initial report, four vehicles were involved. One person was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
Westbound main lanes of Loop 820 remained closed while emergency units worked at the scene and investigators documented the incident. Express lanes stayed open to traffic during the closure, allowing some vehicles to continue through the corridor.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision to determine what led to it.
