Shively, KY (June 15, 2026) – A teenage girl died and two other teenage girls were injured after three pedestrians were struck on Saturday, June 13, on Dixie Highway in Shively.
The police were called to the 3900 block of Dixie Highway after reports that pedestrians had been hit. The accident happened near the Shively-Newman Library, though the exact time was not included in the report.
Emergency units found three teenage girls hurt at the site. One girl was pronounced dead there, while the two others were brought to a hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
