Greeneville, TN (June 11, 2026) – A 52-year-old Greeneville man lost his life in a two-vehicle crash early on Thursday morning on W Andrew Johnson Hwy near Mt. Pleasant Rd. The collision was reported at approximately 5:48 a.m. near Jost International.
Emergency units were dispatched to the roadway after reports of a two-vehicle wreck involving an overturned vehicle. Upon arrival, crews found a 1999 Chevrolet pickup overturned and worked to extricate the driver.
The driver was identified as Paul Oaks, 52, of Greeneville. He died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Officials have not released additional information regarding the second vehicle or the circumstances that led to the collision. Further details about the crash were not immediately available.
