Why Major Intersections Usually See Serious Traffic Collisions
Busy intersections in large cities commonly experience heavy traffic throughout the day, especially near shopping centers, business districts, and major connecting roads. Drivers may face multiple turning lanes, changing traffic signals, and sudden stops, all of which can increase the risk of serious roadway incidents.
Intersections like Grant Road and Oracle Road typically handle large volumes of vehicles traveling in several directions at once. Congestion, limited visibility, and driver distraction can all contribute to dangerous conditions. After a fatal collision, investigators commonly review traffic signal timing, roadway markings, witness statements, and vehicle positioning to better understand what happened. Video footage from nearby businesses or traffic cameras may also help clarify the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
